Our Story

Carl had a vision to create an authentic sea-shell cookie with a fun fish-fact and a cute, whimsical “Quotie” inserted between the two shells – this was the birth of the Shuckie.

The Shuckie is a totally unique cookie given its shape, market and the famous “hinge” at the breaking point. It’s similar to the fortune cookie, however the Shuckie is the only cookie manufactured in such a way. And its vanilla flavor tastes great!

A few years ago Carl and Matt decided to team up as business partners and work together on growing Atlantic Cookie Company by producing and selling more specialty cookies. A lot of research and experiments went into producing the perfect looking and tasting treat. But perseverance has paid off - by focusing on all the little things that go into making something special, both Carl and Matt feel it’s time to get the word out – the Shuckie is ready to feed your craving.
